Neil Dudgeon

Neil Dudgeon is an English actor who, from 2011, has played DCI John Barnaby in the ITV drama series Midsomer Murders. He replaced the retired John Nettles in the lead role.

Dudgeon was born and raised in Doncaster. He attended Intake Secondary Modern school, among others. He acted in school plays and went on to study drama at the University of Bristol .
